Office removals in Hounslow

A commercial move has one fixed point, and it is not yours: the window the two buildings give you. Everything else is planned backwards from it.

  1. 01

    The window is fixed first

Not by us — by the two buildings. Out-of-hours admission, service lift, loading bay, security contact. Everything else on this page is planned backwards from whatever window they give you, which is why we ask for both managing agents before we quote.

  2. 02

    Then the floor plan

Every desk, cabinet and crate gets a destination position, and the labels are printed before anything is packed. This is what makes the far end quick, and it is done in advance because there is no time to do it inside the window.

  3. 03

    Then the crates go out

Delivered to your team early so people pack their own desks in their own time. A business that packs itself over a fortnight moves far faster on the night than one that packs itself on the night.

  4. 04

Then, inside the window, the move

Coded batches on trolleys, in an order built backwards from what has to be usable first. IT separately and last, lifted in coordination with whoever maintains it. Protection down at both ends before anything moves.

  5. 05

And afterwards, the crates come back

Once you have unpacked, not before. Anything that did not fit goes into storage listed rather than shoved in a van, and snags go to the people who did the move.

Three kinds of premises

High Street units and shops
Stock and shelving rather than desks and IT. Sequence matters more — merchandising the new space in order beats opening every carton to find one line.
Small offices
A studio floor with a handful of desks gets the same coding discipline. Small office moves fail for the same reasons large ones do, just faster.
Light industrial and workshops
Benches, racking, tooling and stock. Heavier, slower, and far more dependent on where a vehicle can actually get to.

Office removals — questions

Out of hours?

That is how most business moves here run — evenings and weekends. It is usually the only time the building and the street are available to you.

Will we lose a trading day?

That is what the planning is for. Coding and labelling are finished before the window opens and the new premises are set out to the plan. What you lose is an evening or a weekend.

Do you handle IT?

We move it; we do not decommission or recommission it. Servers and racks are lifted in coordination with whoever maintains them.

Crates?

Supplied, delivered in advance so your team packs its own desks, coded to the new floor plan, and collected once you have unpacked.

We are a shop.

The stock is the difference. A retail move is mostly shelving and stock, and the sequence matters more than it does in an office.

Storage for the overflow?

Yes — containerised and listed on the way in, which matters far more for business records and spare stock than for a household.

Moving the business?

Send both addresses and the name of each managing agent. The window is the first thing we establish.
